APPLICATION DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED BY PRIVATE CITIZENS OF THE COMMUNITY OF ARKOCHORI TO STATE AUTHORITIES 1988–1994

Applications and related documents submitted by private residents of the community of Arkochori to state authorities during the years 1988–1994

1) The first document is a certificate issued by the President of the Arkohori Community stating that the civil registry books of the Community began to be maintained on January 1, 1931, as the previous ones were destroyed by fire. The certificate was issued for official use by the Municipality of Naoussa on November 22, 1988. Reg. No. 693.

2) The second document is a certificate from the President of the Arkohori Community to a private individual, concerning the opening of a curve at the location “Stavros” in the village, which took place in October 1989. It was issued for use in a judicial procedure. The certificate is dated September 24, 1990. Reg. No. 561.

3) The third document concerns the submission of five applications by the President of the Arkohori Community to the Prefecture of Imathia, Department of Social Welfare, on behalf of private individuals, regarding the disbursement of a lump-sum benefit to the beneficiaries. It is dated November 5, 1990. Reg. No. 669.

4) The fourth document is a request from the President of the Arkohori Community to Member of Parliament Stefanos Kyriazopoulos, requesting a state grant of two million drachmas for the completion of the village gymnasium and an additional five hundred thousand drachmas for other operational needs. It is dated December 5, 1990. Reg. No. 733.

5) The fifth document is a response to a request submitted on November 12, 1990, by the President of the Arkohori Community to the Community itself. It confirms that the opening of a new road to facilitate the village's water supply, which took place on privately owned land and fields, does not fall under the jurisdiction of the Management Committee. It also certifies that no damage was caused to the forest, so that the necessary actions could proceed. The document is dated February 8, 1991.

6) The sixth document is an application submitted by the President of the Arkohori Community to the Prefecture of Imathia, Department of Social Welfare, requesting confirmation of the payment of a lump-sum amount to a private individual. It is dated June 24, 1991. Reg. No. 339.

7) The seventh document is a certificate issued by the President of the Arkohori Community on behalf of a private individual, specifying five (5) stremmas of land that the individual owns and cultivates in the village. The certificate was issued due to the absence of a rural guard. It is dated August 19, 1991. Reg. No. 440.

8) The eighth document is a certificate issued by the President of the Arkohori Community to a relative of a deceased resident, confirming that the deceased owned a specific piece of land around his house until the day of his death, as evidenced by the provisional land registry. The certificate is intended for notarial use and is dated June 6, 1991. Reg. No. 480.

9) The ninth document is a response from the President of the Arkohori Community to a private individual’s request submitted on December 19, 1991, regarding the disconnection of the water supply to their residence. The response is dated December 23, 1991.

10) The tenth document is an application submitted by the President of the Arkohori Community to the Prefecture of Imathia, Department of Social Welfare, requesting confirmation of the payment of a lump-sum amount to a private individual. It is dated April 17, 1992. Reg. No. 171.

11) The eleventh file includes nine documents from the Tax Office of Naoussa (Imathia Prefecture) addressed to the President of the Arkohori Community regarding the disclosure of the Community's financial management. The documents pertain to receipt ledgers and contain detailed records of collected and spent amounts. The dates and corresponding protocol numbers are as follows:

12) The twelfth document is a certified photocopy of the original birth certificate of a private individual residing in Arkohori. It is dated February 16, 1993.

13) The thirteenth file includes two documents sent by the Prefecture of Imathia to all municipalities, communities, high schools, and technical schools in the Prefecture. The documents concern the selection and allocation of conscripts for completing and presenting a program, as well as the submission of a registration form to the relevant military office.

• The first document refers to all conscripts born in 1974 (class of 1995) residing in the Prefecture of Imathia. It is dated December 3, 1991, with Reg. No. 641.

• The second document refers to conscripts born in 1976 (class of 1997), dated December 1, 1991, with Reg. No. 731.

14) The fourteenth document was sent by the Prefecture of Imathia to the municipalities, communities, and public organizations of the Prefecture. Its subject concerns the completion of a questionnaire regarding public services. The document requests the completion and return of the attached questionnaire to the competent authority. It is dated May 25, 1993, with Reg. No. 264.
It is accompanied by a resolution from the annual regular conference, which emphasizes the need for the preservation and protection of local government archives.

15) The fifteenth document was sent by the Prefecture of Imathia to the Arkohori Community regarding the formation of a project acceptance committee for completed works related to the Community Gymnasium. The document is dated January 13, 1994. Reg. No. 175.

16) The sixteenth document is a certificate issued by the President of the Arkohori Community to a private individual, concerning the issuance of a divorce certificate, and is intended for any lawful use. It is dated October 11, 1993. Reg. No. 600.
