The Pentekostárion is a fundamental liturgical book of the Orthodox Church, covering the movable period from Easter Sunday to the Sunday of All Saints. It contains hymns, troparia, doxologies, and readings organized in accordance with the liturgical typikon of the Pentecostarion cycle. It reflects the theological and hymnological content of the Paschal and post-Paschal liturgical experience, and is used at the lectern by clergy and chanters in the performance of the services.
